A laudable glimpse of the Willamette Valley’s finest offerings, our Reserve Pinot Noir is truly a celebration of balance. All three of the vineyards are based in volcanic, red soils, contributing to the sweet cherry, red heart plum, and toasted, rich, earth nose. The tannins are firm, but rounded, an underlying minerality which drives the mid-palate through the long finish. Pure fruit flavors, juicy acidity, and the trademark silky texture.

In this big proprietary blend, winemaker Kirk Venge pits 70% Zinfandel and 14% Petite Sirah against 11% Charbono, a rare find in the Napa Valley, and 5% Syrah. The results are complex in deep cherry and milk chocolate, with plenty of grip and drinkable tannins, the finish soft and rich. This wine delivers a great value for the quality.

The 2012 Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley is a seamless wine that coats the entire palate with copious amounts of blackberry, blueberry and cassis fruit with complex soy, smoke, graphite, spice and mineral undertones. All of this deep and rich fruit is perfectly complemented by additional floral suggestions of Hyacinth and Lavender. This classic wine should age effortlessly for 20+ years.

The nose is distinctly intense and powerfully hedonistic with aromas of lychee nut, mangosteen, passion fruit, citrus, rose petal and orange blossom, with a background of mineral, candied orange, yellow peach, greengage, nougat, and toasted almond. Creamy and weighty in the mouth, the palate is rich and seamless. Accents of pain grillé, almond and brioche, with crisp natural acidity and minerals complete the mouth feel. The 2014 Belle Côte is enjoyable now and will continue to develop its unique expression of terroir for at least a decade.
